JON CORNER: I said to them that I think there's a possibility that Madeleine may not be the story eventually, that you may be the story.

They certainly managed to twist it that way, and that was the intention right from the start. There's a small part of me still believes that Madeleine was never part of it at all and it's just all some huge social experiment.
