Re: Film on dvd
Sounds quite damning, but if they sue it will create lots of bad publicity for them. Then again, nothing bad is ever reported in our papers, so they might go for it.

Re: Film on dvd
I wonder where the company is based?
They say they have a distribution centre in Durham, but that may not legally be part of the company. Would be interesting to see if they could get an injunction against distribution without first getting an injunction against the company itself.

That's probably just the warehouse where the things are kept. The McCanns would have to get an injunction against the people who produced it. Their website looks very dodgy - no physical address or company number (I don't think it's even a proper limited liability company) or even a VAT number. They have videos of Tony Bennett on there as well. And what sort of proper commercial company (apart from McCann Ltd) uses a free website template, and can't work a spellchecking facility?
Richplanet website wrote:Richplanet is the name of a webiste launched by Richard D. Hall in early 2008. The website initially was intended to provide a wide range of information about the subject of UFOs. It focused on famous researchers, cases, evidence and witnesses. Later in 2008, Richard was approached by Edge Media Television, a new alternative TV channel who were looking for somebody to provide material about the UFO subject for their channel. The Channel operated on Sky Channel 200 from 2008 to June 2013. Richard made 24 half hour TV programmes which were screened on Edge Media between 2008 and early 2010. These shows were in four series of 6 entitled "RICHPLANET.NET". After making these shows, Richard decided that the shows needed to be more up to date and cover more recent material. He decided to produce a weekly hour long TV show, to cover the UFO subject along with many other controversial topics. The emphasis on the topics chosen was to cover issues that were being lied about or covered up by mainstream media and bring more objective analysis of some of these subjects. Mind control, 9/11, 7/7, hidden history, free energey technology are just some of the subjects which have been covered on the show. The hour long weekly TV show launched in April 2010 and was originally called "The Richplanet Starship". Shortly after the new show launched, Edge Media Television stopped broadcasting due to finiancial difficulties, so we approached Information TV (a neighbouring channel) to ask if they would be interested in screening the show. They agreed and the show is now boradcast on Showcase TV (Sky 191, 192, 193 & Freesat 400). The show was re-named around September 2011 to "Richplanet TV" and is still running today. All of the previous TV shows and films can be purchased from this website.
A one-man operation (two or three at most) jumping on the bandwaggon to make money. I hope he's minted and/or has a good lawyer because the McCann's won't like that at all!

Probably just a load of old news footage, c&p'd from YouTube.

It could be bonkers on a Stephen Birch level, in which case it won't be taken seriously and nobody at Carter-Ruck will be spluttering their coffee over their keyboards.

Re: Film on dvd
His oeuvre as outlined on the website does have an Alex Jones feel to it.
He's obviously done some research, but I do hope that he doesn't hurtle into global conspiracy/psy ops territory with the T9 being under some form of sinister pan-governmental mind control.
That really would be a wasted opportunity.
On the other hand, it could still amount to more than the gutless UK MSM have ever given us, so in that respect, beggars can't be choosers I suppose ......

"Buried By Mainstream Media" and "...leaving the viewer with an understanding of the comprehensive establishment cover up..." sounds very bold and damning. I hope it's not just a re-hash of old previously seen "news" reports.

They won't be able to complain if they don't know exactly what it contains.
Even if it is all old material, the fact that it is collected together on a disc might be cause for concern.

Re: Film on dvd
IF it 'SELLS', they will sue,
IF it does NOT 'sell', they will not sue!
No matter WHAT is in it!
Just like they did NOT sue the THREE authors of books PRE dating GA's book by many months in one case!
With same 'final' PJ report 'conclusions' in them.
Their 'books' did not 'sell' (well)
McCanns DID NOT 'SUE'!
Even though the same 'conclusion' as GA 'reached' after reading OFFICIAL PJ 'files' was in their books.
That's why they will not sue me, because i don't have a pot to pi*s in!

Calling attention to it by suing may not be in their best interest. Oh, what to do, what to do??

That's my thinking Iris. The web site is a mess and they want £20 for their DVD, which I'll bet is a pastiche of clips from YouTube, featuring rather a lot grabbed from HiDeHo.

Hmm - just one more Internet "nutter" - best ignored by the Mcs - or alternatively used as an example of the hurtful and unhelpful type of Internet "troll" as the press are wont to call them... except er hang on a minute - Tony Bennett isn't exactly nudging the Forbes rich list but they went for him quite viciously I believe.

He also had a reputation for fighting for justice, especially after the death of Stuart Lubbock and another guy who's name I can't remember. He was very tenacious and never gave up campaigning so he was clearly a big threat to the McCanns.

Re: Film on dvd
Right - agree with all comments concerning Mr Bennett. Conclusion: it isn't only the financial aspect that motivates them to take legal action - certain people are considered to be a danger and need to be silenced irrespective of financial possibilities. (which is what I was trying to point out with my initial post).

Yes I agree - so anyone talking absolute twaddle like Stephen Birch will be ignored.
