He's a complete @rse. On the day that the Clutha bar was hit by a police helicopter, leaving several people dead and many others badly injured, he stalked Alex Salmond all day on Twitter, whining on about windmills!

He did build his golf course Badboy, very near to my old house actually. There was a lot of very bad feeling because basically it as a fraud. Locals had to be evicted and their homes demolished, some of them had been there for generations. The golf course was supposed to rival Royal Birkdale and Saint Andrews. But it's a disaster, nobody wants to come to a godforsaken corner with no proper infrastructure or transport links. The gates make it look like a crematorium, all black with big black marble stones. The restaurant is rubbish and there have been loads of complaints about the quality and service. There was talk of him building a hotel there too but I haven't heard anything about that for ages so I think that plan might have fallen through.
He was whining about windmills because Scottish Power got planning permission to put some on an old army firing range that is overlooked by the golf course, in fairness it is pretty windy on that part of the coast, but Trump complained that they would spoil the view. He doesn't seem to get that you have to put windmills where the wind actually blows, not in a corner of some industrial estate somewhere.
Trump kept hooting about all the "jobs" that his golf course was going to provide, but they are all pretty low level jobs like greenkeeping, waitressing, security guards etc. I still go up there regularly and the area is quite depressed, jobs are needed but from an economic point of view the people would be better off with the windmills.
