Thanks "fred" for the link to a very well thought out post.  I think the McCanns have been very well served by Clarence Mitchell their liaison officer who appears to be able to facilitate their "needs" due to his close working relationship with the media.

I read until it got to the "hats" references. I never understood it when he wrote about black hats etc. previously so I gave up at that point.

It is a bit drawn out, and I went off her (only just found out that it is a her today, not that it matters, just saying) as most of the stuff was pretty baffling, but this blog seemed to hit the spot
