Re: Labour pair deny secret pact over Miliband
If they've made a strong denial then it's obviously true
He won't step down and even if he did it's far too late for them to change things around before the next election. A new leader would hardly have time to get settled in yet alone roll out a load of vote winning policies.

Morning Angelina, can you remember not so long ago an American was hired by the Labour Party at a cost of £167,000 to boost Ed's image? He worked for Obama, can't be much good Obama is for the chop now that the Republicans have a majority.
It's not funny really because none of the Parties can produce good Governance , so what hppens next April , are we to be saddled with more ineptitude ? No wonder Britain is in such a state.

I don't think it will be Trade Unions who decide, it will be Labour MP's, if Johnson had agreed to throw in his hat, Miliband would be demoted by now.
Just tihink...... £167,000 was taken from Labour coffers to pay for a makeover by an American who helped Obama to get elected. didn't do much for Miliband did he
A Newspaper has reported that it is now critical mass in the Labour Party . Apparently there was a 51% vote for Labour last month , it has dropped to under 40%...the knives are out.!!!!

Thanks Marky, an interesting read. Can you remember why Gordon Brown resigned? I think David Milliband would have been more effective than Ed who has that slack mouth which suggests weakness There is nothing to chose between all the Parties , no one of any stature stands out , except my mate Boris ....watch this space.!

not offhand but as far as i can remember a resignation is the only way to trigger a leadership change this side of the next labour part conference. ed miliband was the unions preferred candidate as his politics are more in tune with their way of thinking add to which he's more sympathetic to them that david ever was.
cameron needs to stop faffing about trying to please everyone and suceed only in pissing everyone off. farage has taken advantage of this at the cost of the conservative core vote which is probably more to the right than many would admit. to my mind unless cameron deals with ukip this split of the centre and centre right will gift the left the next election.

Re: Labour pair deny secret pact over Miliband
I don't ever remember seeing such a shortage of competent , honest Ministers. Theresa May has been a disaster as Home Secretary .....and she fancies herself as PM????
the Liberal Democrats will oust their Leader as soon as the Election is over, I don't like Farrage , that pint in the Pub with the locals does nothing for me but his Party will win a few seats and we might end up like German Politics where 5 Parties rule. Angela Merkel did not have a good majority at the last Election and there is talk of her taking over from the current Head of the IMF.
