What exactly is the problem with Britain leaving the EU ?

The Italian PM has weighed in saying the UK should not leave the EU. Italy is in dire straits and obviously is worried about the EU losing Britains' contribution

John Major, guilty of signing part of the Treaty without understanding the consequence is saying Britain should not leave the EU.

Britain does not sell or buy too much from the EU and our agriculture has suffered , but not France which receives a substantial amount from the EU. Spain was responsible for reducing our Fishing industry .

What kind of Union allows poor Countries to be funded by those who make a profit?

Greece cooked it's books for a long time yet was any action taken against this Country?

If Cameron gives in the Public will never forgive him . I thought it was odd that he would hold a Referendum IF HE IS ELECTED PM NEXT YEAR....what kind of blackmail is that.??? The Referendum should have been carried out this year, Cameron doesn't want to leave , he is a coward in my book.

Hi fuzeta, Cameron is dragging his heels and delayed the Referendum until AFTER the Election.....the coward!!!!! The EU Human Rights bill has affected us as you know, we can't even have our own Judicial system.

The Public was never informed on what our Government was signing up to, the word European Union every one assumed it would be to defend ourselves in the event of War, no such agreement exists.!!! The idea of each Member having a 6 month stint as Chairman is crazy , everyone knows Germany and France make the decisions. No Country has challenged the fact that the EU Accounts could not be signed off by the Auditors for years, Cameron has not challenged this at all. Juncker was re-elected even though he is not competent and Britain did not want him to be voted in again.

Apparently, if we try to leave the Union we could be charged by the EU and have to pay a colossal amount. Pity Maggie Thatcher wasn't around , she was the only PM who forced a refund from the EU.
