Killer uncle out off jail after spending 10 years in jail.
What's the going rate for killing a child and cutting up her body and feeding her to the pigs.......10 years.
No such thing as justice.

I am quite surprised to see that he is being allowed out.

Mommie Dearest could have had leave, but her family refused to have anything to do with her. This was 5 years ago, she is out now though.

Re: Joanna Cipriano
We need to return to having capital punishment sentences handing out for crimes of murder and rape, despite the wailings of the 'do-gooder turn the other cheek' brigade.
Especially if such crimes are against the vulnerable of our society, ie; children, the challenged, the infirm and the eiderly.

Re: Joao Cipriano, murderer of his niece Joana Cipriano, allowed out of jail to spend Easter in the Portuguese spring sun

Tony, I understand that he is not on parole but is allowed out of prison for a family visit after having served half of his sentence. Usually Easter or Christmas for only a few days. Then he returns back to jail. This applies to all prisoners apart from terrorists.

Re: Joanna Cipriano
it's no more than a pointless abuse of our system of justice if those committing what can only be classed as heinous crimes have the opportunity to be allowed out on day/weekend release. The victims of these offenders, assuming they survive, often times are likely be traumatised and unable to venture out of their home.
The sentence handed down should be served......
Without wishing wrong doing on the holier than thou 'offenders have rights' do-gooders, perhaps it would clear and sharpen their mind to reality if they, or one of their friends/family were to be involved in a confrontation with the thugs who freely haunt our unpoliced streets.
