Bloody hypocrites look at the comments.

The comments are being moderated. Mine was not allowed - "Is she related to the McCanns? I mean she left the child alone in a hotel room and now she is suing the authorities. Sounds like right out of the McCanns' playbook."

I noticed in the comments that there were mentions of the Mccanns. The mother seems somewhat "odd" to me.

This is a very strange case. No matter what the mother may or may not have done, it is surely unprecedented for a child to be detained abroad rather than being sent back to his home country and put into care there if necessary.
