Beginning of the truth or justice ???? UK press coverage of Supreme Court's Decision
Sorry but I had to make a new thread . The UK press seem to have turned .Wow wonder where it will leave the tapas lot bet they are all chocking on their cornflakes

The tide appears to have turned. The Sun, the Mirror, the Mail and the Metro are all running with the story that the McCanns were not cleared of involvement in Madeleine's disappearance and one, the Sun I think, has even used the word "death."
The newspapers can safely run with this story with no fear of being sued because they are quoting the Supreme Court's published decision. Let's hope the tide becomes a tsunami really soon!

Good morning cass.
I would imagine in view of Brown's statement that Madeleine's case raised questions of National Security, theMcCann's Band of Brothers would probably have signed the official secrets act and as such are fully protected from making any statements other than what was published at the time.
They were as you no doubt remember, given full opportunities by Leicester Police to revise and edit their statements back in 2008.
