It's not reggae and so slightly OT. But here is another of my favourite artists of all time. I have heaps of CDs of this lady, who led a very rough and colourful life! Quite a lot of her work was also very risque for the 20's, lots of double-entendre and hidden meanings. I have lost count of the number of song's she's recorded about "put some sugar in my bowl" and I will leave you to work that one out for yourself!

Cant find it on youtube but Dinah Washington's " long john blues" was another that was quite risque for the era.
