David Hare and David Tennant "Murder in Samarkand" Broadcasts Today
This is the big day, and I confess to being much too excited about it for a person of my advanced years.

Murder in Samarkand broadcasts today on BBC Radio 4 at 2.30pm.

It has been adapted as a radio drama by David Hare, and I am played by David Tennant.

Do spread the word, and do leave me some feedback when you have herard it. And do buy the book!

I saw David Tennant's name and thought I may have seen a big pic of his eyes.....sorry, I am just a girl who's a sucker for a pair of big brown eyes

An aquaintance of mine who was a senior civil servant in the foreign office, blew the whistle in 2006 on the governments policy regarding torture and secret rendition, resulting in his arrest, charges and loss of employment. Claims that where strenuously denied at the time, have subsequently proved to be correct. I have absolutely no reason to doubt the accuracy of Craig Murry's account. Its very interesting to see how governments operate when confronted with a problem.
