Good idea Kitti!

My cat set his tail on fire the other night. We have one of those fires that looks like an open coal one, but it works with gas. Well, my youngest was sitting beside the fire, eating a bag of cheese and onion crisps (which the cat absolutely loves!) and he was so keen to get his claws into the bairn's crisps, he got too close to the fire and stuck his tail in it!!!

As he is a long haired cat, he didn't even feel it; he just ran around the room with a flame at the tip of his tail while we all tried to catch him, and smother it.

Now he's got a baldy tail at the end, the house stinks horribly of burned hair, and he has a new name. We're calling him Sid, Lord Of the Flame.

"Hey, Lord Of The Flame - yer tail's on fire!"

Sounds like a Tom and Jerry script, Grouse. I would have loved to have seen it..............

aww...poor little cat and yes doesnt their fur stink when they catch it on fire.



My cat likes to be their first near the oil heater when its cold, you can see the smoke coming from his fur as he sits near it and he doesnt take a blind bit off notice!!!
