Wow, that's amazing... you wait weeks for a "renewed hope that Madeleine is alive" story, then two come along on the very same day - this one and Maddie's adventures in Dubai with Mr Swarthyman, reported elsewhere. What a shame that these two encouraging tales have come out the very same day that Dewani throws a sickie on his court date and the Bristol police make and arrest in the Jo Yeates case.

On another note, it's been revealed Alex Reid (Jordans soon-to-be-ex-hubby) was arrested in 2006 for his involvement in a cocaine smuggling boat (he owned timeshares in it).

Definitely a strange news day, makes you wonder how these stories make it to the press.......

I mean they were pleased when the German girl was brought out of a cellar and had given birth to numerous babies, so this story will be like a piece of cake to Madeleine who is surely being kept like a princess in Moroccan mountains and no harm has come to her.

I think the equivalent story would be if one of the creche staff had offered to take Madeleine for a little walk and never come back with her...only it wasn't a real creche worker!

Woof woof - there's no way one can ignore them no matter how many stories of miraculous reuniting of kidnapped babies there are.

After reading this earlier today on MCF, I was wondering how long it would take to get into our press and linked to the McCanns, I did not have long to wait. Now let's see how much this case is milked by the McCann's. Madeleine is waiting to be found etc., etc., donate to the fund. same old.

What is it the McCann's are really trying to hide with all the recent activity? That is what I would like to know!

This is an amazing story and truly wonderful New Year present for the family concerned....... Unfortunately they cannot enjoy their reunion without the narcissistic McCanns trying to steal the show.....

I would say shame on them, but they know no shame.
