Actually NSU , I feel sorry for the P.O, they have had to cope with Fedex, the Internet where even Greetings Cards can be sent free. The P.O are
now providing an internet service , the whole package, phone and broadband for £26.05 a lot cheaper than by current provider . My current provider is
useless so when my Contract ends I will join the P.O. Where else can you get a letter sent from Land's end to John O'Groats delivered to your door.?
for 60p.?

Actually, I think you're right, Panda. Internet greetings cards are fine, but you can't put them on the mantlepiece! It's still nice to have an envelope on the doormat on your birthday and a card, signed by the person, to put where you can see it.

Iv'e sent 123 Greetings Cards to Friends abroad, but certainly not in the U.K.. As you say, it's a once a Year event and lovely to have Christmas and
Birthday Cards and although it's a bit expensiver and laborious writing lots of Cards, I don't begrudge it at all.
