Railway guard jailed for manslaughter of teenager

I can't help but feel that this is a harsh sentence on the guard who could not have known how drunk this girl was. I'm not suggesting for a moment that she deserved what happened to her - I'm sure most of us have been drunk and incapable in our youth; I certainly was - but to me this was simply a tragic accident.

I agree NBY, I thought it was harsh. However, I suppose without seeing the cctv it is difficult to judge.
