He said three years ago that any new investigation should fully consider the statement of Mr Smith. Speaking in November 2010 Mr Amaral said: “I hope this is seriously examined because it is an important aspect of the case.”

I remember Amaral saying this, but thought the Hotel was across the Road from the Tennis Court, not near waste ground? We have the Sun 12 page pull out today, I think I will buy one out of curiosiity

Panda, this link tells me it s an e-book and you have to join to read it. Has anybody seen a paper copy today or is it only on-line ?

They call it a ten year old case. I have, at times, lost the will to live over the last few years but how am I missing three years ??

As is said in another thread, the PJ apologized in 2007 for not getting this evidence, as well as other things they were not able to do.

However, I also remember very clearly that one reason for these delays was said to be the confusion created by the strange behavior and inconsistent stories from the McCanns.
