The Evolution of Beerman

Post  Guest on Mon 28 Apr - 16:49

March 2014. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b03yx04p/profiles/madeleine-mccann-appeal

Officers have identified a potential linked series of twelve crimes which occurred between 2004 and 2010, mostly in low season, whereby a male intruder has gained access to mainly holiday villas occupied by UK families on holiday in the Western Algarve.

In four cases between 2004 and 2006 the man sexually assaulted 5 white girls, aged between 7 and 10 years, whilst in their beds. On one of these occasions, he assaulted two girls in the same villa.

While not identical, there are many similar aspects to each of the incidents. In most cases there were no signs of forced entry to the property, nothing was taken, and the intruder appeared in the early hours of the morning between 02.00hrs and 05.00hrs.

The suspect may have been in the villa or looking round the villa for some time before committing the offences or being disturbed either by a parent coming in, or the child waking up.

He remained calm, even when disturbed.

On two occasions the noise of a bin collection lorry could be heard nearby.

Of the twelve offences, there were four in Carvoeiro, six in the Vale da Parra , Praia da Gale district and two in Praia da Luz.

Witnesses describe the man as having dark or tanned skin with short dark unkempt hair. He spoke in English with a foreign accent, his voice was described as slow, or possibly slurred.

He was sometimes bare chested, some describe him as having a pot belly, and three victims said that he had a noticeable odour.

On two occasions in Vale de Parra and Praia da Gale he was wearing a distinctive burgundy long sleeve top, on one of those occasions it was described as having a white circle on the back.

And here is a picture of the shirt -

But by April 25, it's grown a few arms and legs.

FOUND: Shirt worn by Madeleine McCann suspect

Peter Bleksley believes the shirt worn by the prime suspect was a rare design produced by beer company Super Bock.

It was not sold but given away to loyal customers and should be possible to trace.

The suspect is a child sex attacker who has been operating for years in the area of Portugal where Madeleine vanished in 2007.

His burgundy coloured top with a distinctive white ¬circle on the back was described by the families of two of his victims.

The Yard has released a picture of the long-sleeve T-shirt.

Mr Bleksley, 54, a founder member of the Yard’s undercover squad, said: “Some people have suggested it bore a resemblance to a strip once worn by the Arsenal football team.

“However, I think a more likely explanation could be that the man was wearing one of these Super Bock promotional T-shirts.

"From speaking to bar owners I know the design for these T-shirts changes every year and only a certain number are handed out to regular customers.

“Therefore, it would be possible to check back on all the designs and the years they were produced and see which one bears most similarity to that witnessed by families of victims.

“Then it would be possible to check the distribution of the T-shirts to see where they were given out.

"Not all pubs bother with the promotion so through a process of elimination it may be possible to narrow down where such shirts may have been handed out and then bar owners could be asked about their customers.

“We know that some victims said the man smelt of stale alcohol and tobacco and that he had a pot belly, so that would suggest he was a regular drinker or may have worked in a pub or restaurant.

They’ve helpfully snapped a “tradesman” wearing an “old” Super Bock t shirt (which isn’t actually Burgundy, or made by Super Bock, or old, but let's not let a few facts spoil a juicy story.)

But then by today, Beerman has evolved yet again - http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/madeleine-mccann-suspect-wore-distinctive-red-t-shirt-superbock-logo-1446323

A red, long sleeved T-shirt could be the key to identifying the man suspected of abducting Madeleine McCann.

A former Scotland Yard detective has revealed that a suspect, linked with attacks on another five British girls in the region between 2004 and 2010, was wearing the distinctive, long-sleeve t-shirt with a logo from the Portuguese drinks company Super Bock.

Peter Bleksley, founding member of the Metropolitan Police's undercover unit told the Sunday Express: "Some people have suggested it bore resemblance to a strip once worn by the Arsenal football team. However, I think a more likely explanation could be that the man was wearing one of these Super Bock promotional t-shirts.

"Therefore it would be possible to check back on all the designs and the years they were produced and see which one bears most similarity to that witnessed by families."

The suspect is said to have worn the distinctive burgundy shirt on two occasions in Vale de Parra and Praia da Gale.

Detective Chief Inspector Andy Redwood said last month the suspect broke into holiday properties where British families were staying and sexually abused five white British girls aged between seven and 10.

Described as a tanned, dark-haired man who was 'smelly and pot-bellied' it's believed he may be a local bin man.

Scotland Yard are hoping to begin 'operational activity' on the ground in Portugal, raising hopes that arrests could be imminent.

And here's a nice picture of the "actual" shirt, with caption.

Police have released an image of the T-shirt believed to have been worn by a suspect in the Madeleine McCann enquiry.

Except that the Police DID NOT release the above image, the International Business Times did, on the say-so of an ex-cop with a book to promote, paid by the Express, for a dodgy, ill-researched theory that can be disproved in five minutes flat by a simple Google search.
Isn’t this interfering with an active investigation? What if this "suspect", if he even exists, wasn't wearing a Bock t-shirt at all? What if it's the McCann equivalent of the Yorkshire Ripper "Geordie" tapes?

And how many innocent Dads on holiday with their kids, who have the misfortune to have worn a Bock t-shirt that day, are going to be accosted and harassed?

FGS when is somebody going to put a STOP to this circus?

Oh, and also - Bock is not a "beer company", it is a division of Carlsberg. A very large, very global alcoholic drinks manufacturer with, I would assume, quite a battery of corporate lawyers, ready to sue the arse off any two-bit double-glazing shyster lawyer or money-grubbing ex-cop with a book to promote, should their sales or brand image be harmed in any way by association with sexual predators.

The McCanns have really gone and done it now.

Didn't they made a similar mistake with their identification of the Australian millionairess who allegedly was seen taking a blonde haired child onto her yacht, Iris?

Yes they did Malena, and I can't imagine the Carlsberg corporation being too impressed. Their copyrighted brand logo has been reproduced without permission, for starters.

Oh dear, we must hope that nothing trivial transpires from their over enthusiasm with planting red herrings.

It means "all rights reserved". Shouldn't have gone using their logo without permission!

I don't think there is any suggestion that Tannerman was wearing this T-shirt, merely that such a shirt was implicated in some earlier 'attacks' on other children.

I don't remember Gerry or Kate ever mentioning there was a strong odour of "stale alcohol and tobacco" in the room after Madeleine went "missing". Maybe reading this latest rubbish (no doubt supplied by Mitchell) their memories have been "refreshed" and they can "recollect" in time for the seventh anniversary of Madeleine's death.

According to:

http://www.itv.com/lorraine/on-the-show

Kate and Gerry McCann
It's seven years on Saturday Madeleine McCann was snatched from her family's holiday apartment - now her parents join us to talk about Scotland Yard's new leads.

So not just Her Indoors then. Now you have one more reason to stay as far away from a telly as possible tomorrow morn.

We might even see 'our' Lorraine wearing a good quality 'Find Madeleine' wristband.

She hasn't ever worn one, during the last 7 YEARS, but know knows, 'our' Kate and Gerry might present her with one, 'live' on the show!

Then she'll never again have an 'excuse' not to wear her 'Find Madeleine' wristband, in total 'support' of the McCanns.

And 'donate/pledge' from tomorrow, 'live' on her show, 1st May 2014, ALL of her next three years 'earnings' to the Madeleine Fund: Leaving No Stone Unturned.

A PRIVATE Limited company by guarentee.

Will she/Won't she?

We'll find out tomorrow!

ps:
Maybe EX -Cop and expert on Madeleine's 'abduction' EX DC Peter Bleksley will 'accompany' the pair, on their TV 'rounds' as Big Jim Gamble is 'busy' (asking about the 'availibility' of young girls, under the age of 12/13 years old in Cambodia)

http://newsstand.x10.mx/archive2/2496.html

"Within two minutes a madam came up to us and said, 'What are you looking for?' and Jim said, 'We're looking for young girls.' She brought over three or four girls that were (about) 12 or 13 years old - very, very young."

Gamble told her they wanted younger girls,...................
