I tried to get the Egypt Thread to add this post but apparently I don't have access...very strange.!!!

I'm on my tablet right now so can't c&p links. But I was reading last night that the Egyptians are now officially backing Israel in order to defeat Hamas.

I think the World is in the throes of a terrible nightmare and the West has lost any credibility to be able to stop it. I literally cried when I saw the
young lads with their Father sitting by the Hospital bed of their Brother who was injured, they themselves had pock marks of shrapnel all over their faces caused by bombs exploding on a beach they were playing football on. Now all these youngsters face life in Refuge Camps because their homes have been destroyed.

The World is in crisis and the U.N.has no credibility , nor has the U.S. or Europe.

one has to exercise some caution when comparing events in egypt with syria, libya and iraq. they are not the same.

I watched a Report the other night about Egypt, the Country is broke , partly because of a deal with Israel over Oil, Israel conned Egypt over the price , there is civil unrest and rioting which will deter Holiday Makers to make matters worse. The Middle East really is in chaos.

I watched a Report the other night about Egypt, the Country is broke , partly because of a deal with Israel over Oil, Israel conned Egypt over the price , there is civil unrest and rioting which will deter Holiday Makers to make matters worse. The Middle East really is in chaos.

egypt flirted with morsi and didn't like the way he was headed. in truth no better than mubarack but also radically islamic, so out he went. the unrest hurt the tourist industry which is to egypt is a large source of income. speaking to them last year they were in the main happy to return to what they saw as stability although as a result of morsi's policies this may take some time. as for those factions out in the desert, the army will take care of them.

At what cost though Marky, all we are reading about is destruction......who is going to pay for repairs ? rebuild Homes , schools etc ,Alreaady the USA, a very generous Country, is hinting it will not offer aid to the African Countries because the Population is not helping itself.
