Told today of a significant arrest that will occur over the next few weeks into child pornography- a very good pro active police invest.

We'll just have to wait and see, but I'm not holding my breath that there will be a breakthrough with this case through our police in this country !!

Enigma is this about the Maddy case that an arrest will be made soon, I just assumed it was about another case!!!!!!

I doubt it has anything to do with Madeleine, but then I don't believe Madeleine's disappearance has anything to do with paedophilia in any way. Her father might have jumped in with the 'paedophile gang' suggestion in the early days (though he seems to have backtracked on that, with his assurances that there's no reason to believe she's been hurt or harmed in any way), but we're not obliged to believe in any abductor, paedophile or otherwise. Dave Edgar bounces about from paedophiles to happy new parents and back to lawless people living on the edges of society around Praia da Luz, but I think he's just guessing, nothing more. And I don't think any of the Tapas 9 are paedophiles either.

The whole paedophile thing in this case is a red herring, IMO.

From the start always felt Madeleine was an unfortunate child in the wrong place at the wrong time. A sad child. What was said by a "family friend" about what David Payne said has not made much news. If that was said about anyone else in the public eye there would have been a hue and cry. That sort of talk is just not made in joke mode. Feel Maddie had a bad life. Sorry to be so blunt.

Well, considering M W-T is a puke of the first order, a) it won't have anything to do with the McCann case and b) it won't be true in any case.

You could make a football team now of supposed ex-experts who have revived their careers on the back of Madeleine McCann, to no effect whatsoever in anyone's knowledge of the facts.

And a crowded bench as well.

Prague - The police have unveiled a network of 160 suspected distributors of child pornography in the Czech Republic, one of the most extensive cases in Czech history, Alena Kolarova, from the Prague Police Directorate, said today.

The police have carried out 150 home searches, seizing 342 PCs and recording devices. Most suspects have confessed to distributing pornography, Kolarova said.

The alleged perpetrators were reported to the police by a girl-friend of one of them.

Most suspects have been arrested in Prague and in north and south Moravia. One-fourth of the arrested are women.

The police carried 32 home searches in Prague alone and checked some 800 e-mail boxes and tens of thousands of e-mail messages.

Some 840 policemen from all parts of the country were involved in the investigation of the child porn network.

One person will be accused within the case soon, Frantisek Lazak, from the Prague police, said.

If found guilty of distributing child porn, the suspects may end up in prison for up to six years.

Lazak said the whole group functioned as a communication channel to distribute child porn pictures and videos. It seems they did not sell the porn to one another.

The network includes people aged from 20 to 70, from all social classes.

160 suspects with 1/4 of the arrrested suspects being women = 40 women suspected of distributing child pornography in this latest child porn bust if I have my sums correct.

There are some evil people out there, what sort of world are we living in where no child is safe from these Paedophile, I hope they get the lot of them and put them in Jail and thro the keys away and never let them out again, that way they will not be able to harm any more children again

A 32-year-old woman has been arrested by detectives investigating an alleged sexual assault on a child at a nursery.

West Yorkshire Police said the woman, from Leeds, was arrested on Friday by officers investigating an incident at an unnamed centre in the south of the city.

A force spokeswoman said the woman was released on bail pending further inquiries.

In a statement, the police said: "West Yorkshire Police's Child and Public Protection Unit is carrying out an investigation into the alleged sexual assault of a child at a nursery in south Leeds.

"A 32-year-old woman from Leeds was arrested last Friday and has since been released on police bail pending further inquiries."

I very much doubt this is the "significant" arrest MW-T has referred to as its being reported as an "isolated incident" and no reference to child pornography as yet but nevertheless this latest alleged "nursery child abuse" arrest is making worldwide news as its being reported in New Zealand and has some members in the House (Parliament) rather concerned which they should be as they have ignored the increasing issue of female child sexual abuse for far too long.

This is all very sad what is happening in this world, there are more and more women being caught.Untill the Wests
were caught I never knew they existed. When we were young we were told if we got lost etc and needed help
then we must
1, Find a policeman.
2, Ask a woman.

I think we have to give them some kind of advice about who to speak to. I would still advise speaking to a woman. Of the over 600,000 registered sex offenders in the US, I would bet that most of them are men. There are still very few women abusing children and it's even rarer for a lone woman to abduct a child. I can't recall any cases offhand, of a woman on her own, not involved with a man, abducting a child.

My little grandson, aged three, has been scripted with his full name, address, and the names of his mum and dad. A couple of weekends ago, I was taking him through it. What's your mummy's name? Mummy ****. What's your daddy's name? Daddy *******. Where do you live? ******* Road. What number? Our house hasn't got a number. Really? No, our number fell off!

Where I live, the advice to kids is to go into a shop and ask the person behind the till for help.
