The three-year-old girl was pulled from the sea and revived by a member of the public
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1280837/Three-year-old-girl-rescued-swimmer-floating-sea-unconscious.html
A girl of three nearly drowned after she was knocked over by a wave during a family trip to the sea side.
The floating body of Samayh Ali was spotted by a passer-by who dragged her from the water onto the beach.
The anonymous life saver the gave the toddler mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and CPR until she spluttered and started breathing again.

She was taken to hospital by ambulance for check-ups but was well enough to be allowed home today.
Coastguards said Samayh was lucky to be alive after she is understood to have wandered off on her own Coney Beach, Porthcawl, South Wales yesterday afternoon.
Swansea Coastguard watch manager Dai Jones said: 'This little girl owes her life to the member of the public who pulled her from the sea and administered CPR.
'When the girl was pulled from the water she was unconscious and not breathing, but when she was transferred to the ambulance she began breathing and regained consciousness.'
He continued: 'We urge parents to always be vigilant and keep an eye on their children when they are playing at the beach, especially during busy periods when they can easily get lost of wander off.'
Samayh was taken by ambulance to the Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend, where she underwent X-rays and other tests before being taken back to the family home in Newport, South Wales, yesterday.
The identity of her lifesaver remains a mystery.
A coastguard spokesman said: 'He deserves a medal - the little girl only survived because of his prompt actions.'

Must be contagious. I know Madeleine would have to have gone through reception..... bla, blah... and holidaymakers might have heard a big splash if she'd fallen into the pool, but still how could the McCs ever think it was safe to leave them?

I still think she managed to somehow let herself out of the apartment. Even if it was actually locked however, a clever (which she was, we are told) nearly 4 year old might be able to open it from the inside - locked doors after all do not open from outside but inside is different. I think then she fell, probably fatally, and was brought back inside.

I left a comment on there, it basically said, why the hypocrisy of the Mail readers was unbeleivable, when MM went missing all the readers declared they all "did it"

When our son was toddling, we bought a plastic cupboard lock to stop him raiding the fridge and helping himself to anything tasty he found in there. The lock was installed for less than a day before he had figured out how to work it.
