Man arrested in connection with violent death of Málaga woman, 20

A 30-YEAR-OLD Spaniard has been arrested in connection with the death of a young woman in Málaga, whose body was found in the street in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Police have initially ruled out domestic violence, as the connection between the suspect and the victim, a 20-year-old girl from an unnamed South American country, is said to be 'minimal'.

She was found badly beaten in the street just before 07.00hrs after police received a call from a passerby.

The suspect, who has not yet been identified, was arrested at his place of work just after noon on the same day.
