No, not Madeleine.... but a wee German boy who disappared on holiday in Spain.

Police in Spain have found the body of a five-year-old German boy in a reservoir.

The boy, who was apparently on holiday with his mother, went missing last Tuesday.

Police say the woman, who is in a city hospital, reported the disappearance of the child when she was found in a distraught state at a petrol station on Tuesday.

Although police released pictures of both the mother and child on Thursday, they did not formally name either, and identified her only as 'Tanja K'.

The boy's father and other relatives had flown from Germany to join in the search.

The case is sure to revive memories of Madeleine McCann who disappeared three years ago, while on holiday with her parents and twin siblings in the Algarve region of Portugal.

The British girl went missing from an apartment, in the central area of the resort of Praia da Luz, a few days before her fourth birthday,

A civil guard spokesman in the city of Cordoba, southern Spain, said on Thursday night that the child's body was found by police searching a zone outside the nearby town of Espiel.

The boys father and other family members had flown out to join in the search as all real parents would, not just leaving it to others........

As an afterthought...Do the Germans have an Ambulance chasing Clarence Mitchell like creature who could be the family spokesperson?

Oh dear! Fancy comparing Maddie's disappearance to a child's body being found in a reservoir! Are they implying that Maddie is dead? This is definitely something C-R should be looking into!
