DNA paternity test catches woman paedophile who tricked child into fathering her baby

A paternity test has caught a paedophile in America who fell pregnant after having an affair with a 14-year-old boy, according to Sun Times:-

Shannon Ellis was 34 when she fell pregnant two years ago. It was a surprise to family members who had been told that her husband had undergone a vasectomy, but the couple lied and claimed the procedure had been reversed.

However, a DNA paternity test found that the father was a 14-year-old relative of her husband.

Now Ellis faces charges of sexual misconduct with a minor after police discovered she had lured the child into having sex with her on several occasions in 2007 and 2008.

Ellis, who has already entered into a plea agreement, faces up to 10 years in jail. According to The Star, the boy's mother alleges that Ellis used the boy to get pregnant.

The boy's mother has spoken about her fears that the court will go easy on Ellis because she's a woman. She said: "She needs to pay for what she did just like if it was a 34-year-old man who got a 14-year-old girl pregnant."

The child told investigators that during a visit to her home in 2007, Ellis gave the boy a cup and told him to go into a bedroom and bring back a sperm sample. When he returned, she put a stick in the cup "and told him that he had strong sperm and would be able to have children".

Two months later "she asked him to go into her bedroom, and she started talking to him about the birds and bees when she suddenly took her clothes off, took his clothes off". The boy told police that was the first of many times that she abused him.

Ellis was caught when the child confided in his father. A court-ordered DNA test found he was the father. The baby is under the care of the husband who has since filed for divorce.
