I have passed them along to my son. He hasn't read them yet but I know he will be dumbfounded by the comments as I am not sure that he fully recognises how talented he is.

It was not recognised until he was about 16, taking his first 'art class' in school. He was required to bring a picture to copy but 'forgot'

He drew a portrait of John Lennon from memory and was immediately recognised by his art teacher and the school principle as having a special talent. (They both purchased portraits from him)

Since then he has done very few and with his 24th birthday coming up next week he finally completed the portrait of Madeleine.

I am very proud of him, not only for his talent, but he suggested that if the McCann family would like the original he would be happy for them to have it.

He is, of course, aware of the police files but, like myself, would only like to know that Madeleine was found and laid to rest in peace and suggested the offer of the portrait to the family with the best of intentions.

I asked him if he was sure, he replied 'Why not?"

Yes, I am very proud of him.

I am late getting here but I too would like to say that your son is extremely talented - I hope he continues producing work - he is obviously gifted.
