Will the NOTW sue the Sheridans to get their money back?

hahaha Fred, it is a case worth the watching! Tommy Sheridan is/was a very outspoken Socialist MSP. Himself and wifie Gail were accused of going to swingers clubs and sex parties, drinking (he's meant to be teetotal) and using cocaine, and they successfully sued the NOTW in 2006 for defamation. They got £200,000 damages. But they were later charged with perjury as they lied on oath, so did some of his rellies and pals and some of them are getting charged now as well. He famously accused Lothian and Borders police of harassing his family rather than looking for real criminals (sound familiar?) There have also been tales of witness intimdation. Be interesting to see how this one pans out!

Personally I have detested Gail Sheridan since she was invited to appear in the Sunday Mail magazine in a fashion article, which was meant to be about fashion for people on a working class budget. She "recommended" a £400 handbag.
