Millwall Fans......
Who says we dont have a sense of humour.
Some guys have clubbed together and hired a private aeroplane to fly over the DW Wigan stadium this afternoon towing a big banner saying.
AVRAM GRANT - Millwall Legend.
You have to be a footie fan to understand this............

Re: Millwall Fans......
If i need to explain ,there is a fierce rivalry between Millwall and west ham going back to 1897 when both sets of supporters where 'fighting' for jobs and contracts in the Docks (which would have been a particularly hostile place at the time). The rivalry has spilled on to the football pitch and off it many times since.I suspect next seasons game will have to be played behind closed doors.
Millwall fans have developed a soft spot for the much critisized west ham (now sacked) manager, who once again today did a wonderful job leaving west hams three best players on the bench.Excellent job Avram........
Happy Days......

Re: Millwall Fans......
You got to hand it to him though, this year West Ham, last year, was it Portsmouth?
Please god, he doesn't come to Old Trafford when The Boss hangs up his hat!
Saw that banner on MOTD!
Can't stand watching grown men cry over football!

You have to understand its more than a game wjk.
Yes Avram could go for the hatrick next year. Not sure this will look to good on his CV though.

I know, I'm always getting told off for 'not understanding' how important this game is or that game is!Lioned wrote:You have to understand its more than a game wjk.
I live in a house with 2 Utd fans and 1 Man City fan (an a daughter who couldn't care less) Can you imagine it here this morning when they all got together after going to their respective matches yesterday!
I was like by tonight!

Re: Millwall Fans......
I saw that, I also noticed he didn't react to anything, not even a tiny little smile when they scored.
I think the neighbours thought we'd gone mad when Wigan's third goal went in, I was exhausted by full time
The only problem now, apart from (hopefully) beating Stoke next week is whether Man U bother to put a decent team out against Blackpool seeing they have already won the league. Tottenham need to beat Birmingham and a draw between Wolves and Blackburn would help.
One thing I do know is next Sunday is going to be very stressful in our house

Re: Millwall Fans......
Man U will rest most of their best players for the Champ league final on the following Wednesday.Wouldnt be suprised if Blackpool get a point.
Birmingham are the ones in big trouble as i can see them loosing by a few at Spurs.Wolves ,Blackburn has got draw written all over it.
Think Stoke will want to go out on a high following the cup final loss.
It could easily go to goal difference with all the bottom teams loosing, very close and very tense, for you.I shall probably fire up the barbie and have a 'Avram Grant' for PM party.
