I Got A Terrible Rash............

Its well angry and the quack dont know what it is and i can't sleep.He thinks it an allergy so he reached for his book but couldn't be bothered to look inside so palmed me of with some antihistamine things,that aren't making it any better, and said it should be alright in five weeks time or come back.GP's are rubbish.

I can't think of anything unusual i have done/touched/eaten/drunk etc etc in the last few weeks though i am well stressed out at the moment.Think i need a holiday but far too much to do at the moment.

Well, your skin is telling you something. I once had an amazing rash, turned out to be nothing but stress.

It is getting a little better.I have read somewhere that a 'Gluten' allergy causes the kind of rash i have,infact its the only thing that fits on 'Doc net.com etc etc'

No way can i give up Gluten as its in nearly everything i like.Anyway i am not giving up beer either.

I have got to go back to the Hospital in the next couple of weeks to see the skin specialist who cut a 'mole' of my chest a few months ago,just to make sure thats ok so i'll ask him if its not got better by then.

No penicillin or any other drugs,take piriton for a bit of hay fever.Quack said must be an allergy so take two antihistamins a day for couple of weeks.

I have got a bit of Eczema.Its well itchy and i've tried everything,always had sensitive skin but this is giving me gip so any ideas.
Trying Tea Tree oil at the moment.

Yes, you can buy it for drinking at shops like Holland and Barrett and any health food store. Be careful, though, because it can have a laxative effect. I have several aloe vera plants, which look attractive and are very useful. Any burns in the kitchen are immediately treated by pulling off a small part of a plant and squeezing out the gel.

I suggest trying the gel to apply to your skin. You can buy a fairly big tube of it from places like Holland and Barrett and make sure it's around 90% pure. Best to keep the tube in the fridge so that it's lovely and cool when you apply it. You've also got it handy for cooling and soothing minor burns.

Actually just foiund H & B site and can get it for 5.99 for 200ml and postage is a bit cheaper but not sure if its the same stuff ?

That looks like good value. Over 99% pure organic aloe vera gel. Tea tree is good for fungal infections and quite a few other conditions, but I wouldn't use it for eczema.
