Despatches - Murder on Honeymoon
The C4 programme is available on 4OD if missed last night:
http://www.channel4.com/programmes/dispatches/4od#3212011
A resume of the Dewani case ahead of the extradition hearing next week. It heavily relies on Anni's family's comments so somewhat one-sided but worth a watch if interested.

Re: Despatches - Murder on Honeymoon
How was it one sided?
It's obvious that the murder was planned.
Damning evidence against him....text messages, telephone calls....all match up to the car driver and dewani.
He had his say as much as annies family.
He denied he was gay when it was PROVEN that he was....his lover....who worked in the civil service has proof they were lovers....his visit to gay sado bars and his credit card receipts plus the man he had sex with.......his talking to a friend about how he wanted to 'do away' with anni.....annies text messages to her sister calling dewani a monster and that she was going to divorce him when she gets home and her conversation with her father whilst In SA saying that she had something to tell him when she got him but couldn't tell him over the phone
She never consummated their marriage.....they were dressed up that last night, even the waiter said it was odd that they were dressed like that to come to a place liken his and they left after the FIRST course .
Now come on...only an idiot like Clifford would think he was innocent and.......they weren't legally married until they registered in the UK and they didn't do that as dewani whisked her away to SA for a honeymoon before that could be done....they married in Mumbai came back and then within a week...a surprise holiday for her and on the first day.....he was plotting her murder and he had the nerve on the next day to meet the car driver and PAY HIM!!!

It was somewhat one-sided in as much as it was very much the family's story. "His say" was limited to a early interview and snippets of what he stated to have happened - not answering the accusations directed against him. Clifford is a paid mouthpiece so his views are irrelevant anyway. Personally I will wait for the trial verdict after all the evidence is presented.
You never know there could be a perfectly innocent explanation for whatever evidence may or may not be found.

Re: Despatches - Murder on Honeymoon
Thats right, dewani did not want to reply to any statements, he's too busy faking illness so as not to go back to SA.
He has money on his side.
He may never be extradited.

if the likes of Murdoch/Brooks can be brought to task, I'm sure that Dewani with whatever money he has behind him will NOT help him, if there is solid evidence against him.

Re: Despatches - Murder on Honeymoon
The text messages are the most damning.
Why would dewani text the driver whilst in the car?
Ok, the driver changed his mind and now Implicates dewani for a softer sentence....but....the text messages have been checked out and it has been proved that the driver is NOT lying.
Just watch it and see for yourself.......he got a HIT on her, he knew that alot off people in SA are hard up and their was NO shortage off takers to do this HIT.

Re: Despatches - Murder on Honeymoon
What did he gain by marrying her? Was it supposed to convince his family he wasn't gay? And give him some life insurance?
Happy honeymoon! Her parents must be sick about this. As well as his I would imagine.
