A Shot In The Foot
THE former coordinator of PJ that investigated the disappearance of Maddie argues that the Scotland Yard "will discover much that is not pleasing to the McCanns". In today's edition of the "Official News", Gonçalo Amaral reacts to Friday's news, that the police will return to investigate the case after the intervention of the British Prime Minister. For the former PJ coordinator, such research "will be a shot in the foot" for the McCanns, since, he says, Scotland Yard has experience in "unmasking fake abductions".

Thank you for this article with a statement from Goncalo Amaral. I too hope that SY will be unable to ignore the information in the files. I only hope that even if the McCanns do have someone on the inside who will possibly access the withheld files they will not to explain it away as they have done in the past.
