The child bounced off the roof of a parked car


A 16 month old baby girl has survived a fall from a fourth floor flat in Sevilla. The child fell on Saturday in what was a tragic accident in the family home, and bounced off the roof of a car which was parked in Calle Playa de Chipiona, the street below.

Incredibly the child has suffered no injuries greater than a cut lip, and remained conscious, but she was kept in the Virgen del Rocio Hospital for more tests and observation.
Her aunt and grandmother who were in the house at the time had to be treated in the street for a nervous breakdown.

The forensic police have inspected the fourth floor balcony, and have concluded the baby fell by accident
