13 arrested for child pornography in Spain

The arrests took place across the country in four simultaneous operations


The National Police have arrested 13 people in four simultaneous operations across the country against child pornography. Another 7 people are suspected of distributing and possessing pornographic images.

Seventeen addresses were searched in Valencia, Madrid, Tarragona, Murcia, Cáceres, Vigo, Logroño, Barcelona and Asturias. Officers seized three computers, 27 hard discs, almost 300 CDs and DVDs, a memory card and files containing pornographic material.

The investigation came thanks to members of the public who informed the police after coming across pornographic files on the Internet
