Virgin to buy Northern Rock

The Government bailed out Northern Rock over two years ago to the tune of £1.2 billion, plus the interest this would have made , is selling for
£728 million to Virgin with extra if the deal is successful after 5 years. George Osborne says it is a good deal and will bring jobs to the North
East. Let"s hope when the money is received it will be ploughed into opening workshops with qualified Staff to teach youngsters a Trade with
a proper qualification for when the good times come.
