The charges relate to suspicion of fundraising for terrorist purposes and of travelling to Pakistan for terrorist training
1:01pm UK, Saturday November 19, 2011
Four men from Birmingham have appeared in court in London charged with terrorism offences.
Khobaib Hussain, Ishaaq Hussain and Shahid Kasam Khan, all 19, and
Naweed Mahmood Ali, 24, are accused of fundraising for terrorist
purposes and of travelling to Pakistan for terrorist training.
They were arrested at their homes in the Sparkhill area of Birmingham
by officers from the West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit on Tuesday.
West Midlands Police said the arrests were pre-planned and were made
by unarmed officers as part of a major ongoing investigation.
The men have been charged with engaging in conduct in preparation of
terrorist acts contrary to section 5(1) of the Terrorism Act 2006, a
force spokesman said.
The spokesman said: "Four men from Birmingham have... been charged with terrorism offences.
"These charges are in connection with Operation Pitsford, a major
counter terrorism investigation that has already seen eight people
charged and appear in court."
The four were remanded in custody by a judge at Westminster Magistrates Court.

Yet more "Britons" who would rather owe allegiance to their faith before the country which nurtured them.

Badboy....they are everywhere , simmering away right in front off our eyes .
I've been watching the 9/11 programmes and it makes you very upset watching people jump from buildings and people are still suffering and dying today because off that day.

Well, in a school that I'm not alllowed to name, a madrassa uses a classroom in the evening. One morning recently, the teacher entered the room and found that the whiteboard had not been wiped. On that board, which has been photographed, were statements like "Girls are the agents of Satan," and "Gays should be hanged."
