Re: Comments on The Daily Mail 05/12/11
On my daily trip around the World of newspapers, the DM is my first port of call. I only skim the contents because as most know its just a gutter rag.( I remember when it was a good newspaper). I have puzzled over the way of getting negative comments to certain subjects accepted , mainly the Mcscams and that little known outfit that goes by the name of "Common Purpose ", ( the initials give a good idea as to its pedigree ), it shelters under the cover of a charity.( hint: ask why Education, Hospitals etc.... are the way they are).
It appears to me that the person accepting the comments in the DM can vary day to day, because some days I am amazed at some of the negative comments that appear.
I have had some success by simply stressing as to how poor the TV comments are on a subject whilst the DM is better , so to speak.
I also lurk on several forums and can tell you that out in the big World the feelings towards the Mcscams to a very big degree is negative!

Re: Comments on The Daily Mail 05/12/11
good morning flower,
i wasn't told how many complaints they received...just that they had "so many"
i also received another email about 2 hours after the initial whoosing one,
saying that after review they are not going to reinstate my comment.
there was another comment that, without naming names, alluded to the mccanns...
that one also disappeared.
both comments had a lot of green arrows.the email i sent the mail has still remained unanswered.

I had the same thing happen to me a few weeks back, blossom... I don't remember if it was Sky or DM, but I first got a celebratory e-mail saying that my post was the most liked, with the highest score..... and then immediately after that it was whooshed. I never bothered to ask why, though I probably should have. I figured the 'disturbed ones' had been up to their usual dirty tricks!

this is amazing....
i have just this minute received an email from the daily mail,
they are saying that they had so many complaints about my comment,
they had to remove...
i'd love to post it here...but don't know how.
i wouldn't mind but i had only green arrows!
I am not sure it is any consolation but I doubt you only get red or green arrows - surely the "score" is the net of those who like or dislike. If you have a green score of 100 that could mean 500 dislikes and 600 likes. Having said that scores are irrelevant - the Mail mods will decide.
