So, there it is in black and white: The Fund is predicated upon the premise, stated as Fact, that Madeleine was Abducted.

That an Abduction took place was highly dubious and unlikely even back in May 2007 (I decline to quote the precise day, as that is also not proven) and remains so today.

As I understand it, the stated position (At the time of filing) that no Police Force was looking for Madeleine is one that can be markedly altered by a simple request from Healy and McCann to the PJ.

"The cost of a stamp", if Amaral is to be believed.

And many people do believe him.

As usual the McCanns fund is no more transparent than before with expenditure only being split into "Merchandising & Campaign costs" and "Administrative Expenses" - Searching anyone?

I note at the bottom no directors took any £ emoluments. But that wouldn't include the McCanns "financial support"

As a matter of interest why don't they remove that as an objective of the fund. I can see that maybe being necessary whilst in Portugual but - did they not flee there in 2007 when made arguidos? Hmm

The old chestnut no police force actively searching for Madeleine is still trotted out yet again - so the £3+ million review obviously doesn't count to the McCanns etc.?

No mention either of the post-balance sheet event of an SY review or the ongoing litigation that the company appears to be funding (or was the last heard).

Am I reading right......only £125,000 left in the fund and how can a fund have losses off £300,000.


The year 2010 they had £510,000 at bank.....the year 2011 they had at the bank £173,000....how have they spent over £300,000 in one year?
