Rico Sorda - A Mirror Image
I`m not sure if we`re allowed to post things from other sites - if not, please delete.
I found this interesting piece on Jill`s forum about how to go about discrediting an investigation and the similarities to the Haut de la Garenne case.

.Hi, my name is Rico Sorda
I run my own blog site in Jersey Channel Islands that concentrates on exposing the Government led Jersey Child Abuse Cover-up http://ricosorda.blogspot.com/
During my research into Martin Grimes & his dogs I was led to the Mcann case. I have never had an interest in this case before so came to it with an open mind. The first thing that jumps out at me is the treatment of the Portuguese lead detective. What happened to this man is exactly what happened to the lead detective in Jersey. Senior Investigating officer Lenny Harper broke the veil of secrecy concerning decades of abuse in Jersey - our establishment hated him for doing it. They ridiculed this man and his investigation. He retired in July 2008 and they have been trashing him ever since. He was backed up to the hilt by his Chief Graham Power. These two decent cops tried to do something - the Jersey establishment suspended Graham Power in November 2008.
I will not bore you with all the details, but from what I can see, its no different to what is happening to the portuguese detective
These cops don't turn rubbish over night. If you want to discredit an investigation you must first discredit the persons leading it. This will be done by trashing the evidence. Some english journalists excel in this. I have exposed this on my blog. Look beyond the Mcann case so you can build a better picture as to how things are done. There are some excellent cops & journalists out there who don't like what is going on but the big decisions are made in the editorial rooms.
In my opinion there seems to be a formula that kicks in on high profile cases
I hope you don't mind me dropping in and adding my little bit.
Please feel free to ask questions if you so feel.

The blog reads sensational but I remember this case when they said they were digging up dead bodies and a blood stained bath due to Eddie the dog running a mock again and barking all the time like in Portugal but they uncovered nothing. The dog has a lot to answer for.

All this shows is that the dogs were operating within their statistical level. Which is still above that of humans so they don't actually have anything to answer for.
The results of this study indicate that the well-trained cadaver dog is an outstanding tool for crime scene investigation displaying excellent sensitivity (75-100), specificity (91-100), and having a positive predictive value (90-100), negative predictive value (90-100) as well as accuracy (92-100).

Interesting. If wish to get drawn into statistics according to the US department of justice when a child is murdered the most frequent perpetrator are those in a parental role.
www.ojp.usdoj.gov/bjs/ homicide/children.htm.
When the dog signaled behind the sofa, where blood was incidently found by the other dog and also in the cupboard (Where the missing blue bag was) and also at the hire car that was rented after the disappearance, where fluids were found in the boot that matched 15/19 of Madelines DNA markers which would be considered a legal match in the UK or the USA, then its not a surprise that the Mccann's were made people of interest huh?

Why not present some ideas, rather than starting right in criticising others? You have already attracted my attention for very negative reasons and if you have made your mind up about the forum, please take advantage of the option to go elsewhere.

That is not true but if the views of people is one sided then nobody can possibly air their own without being insulted.
To call people a troll is an insult in my book.

If you wanted to contribute. You could start by leaving out snidey /sarcy comments such as 'ask the dogs' or any other mantra frequently propogated by Clarence Mitchell and if you have something to say try and base it around some evidence. Also only a troll would find it insulting to be called a troll and all seem to take it very faux-personally.

If it looks like a duck......and I have to say that so far, you're looking like a troll!

It is not so much what is said, but the manner in which it is said.
Nobody here is unhappy to hear well-structured and politely presented views of any legally acceptable and on-topic flavour.
But then I'm sure you know all that.

Yeah, there are thousands of sniffer dogs all over the world trained to uncover every type of drug, explosives, firearms, blood that's been cleaned up, cadavers and people trapped in earthquake rubble, etc, etc.
Yet the only two dogs that are 'rubbish' are Eddie and Keela....
Another 'sleeper' awakes.

When I graduated I did an internship with a media strategy organisation and they had a very impressive computer system (that was used by all the big media organisations) to keep tabs on specific topics of interest. I'm pretty certain that any mention of the 'dogs' now brings up a red flag on a database somewhere with staff members primed to place negatively skewed responses to this. (possibly the person spec asks for cat lovers)
However, they must also be sitting there questioning the ethics of their organisation which attempts to smear science! Whilst choosing from the possible list of stock responses they must really be wondering what they have signed themselves up for. Its not conspiracy if its proven by science as having a high efficacy. It makes me wonder what Leveson is actually focusing on the mask when he should be focusing on the darkness underneath. This should definitely lead to a review of the PR companies. I imagine its you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours; if you publish the dross then when a real story comes along we'll let you have the scoop.
*Edit* just checked a person spec for a pr company, no talk about cats.
http://www.zelst.co.uk/Zelst-SEO-Link-Building-Specialist.pdf
As a tenuous link the Mccann's were evidently cat people all along and never understood peoples affection for dogs, as evidenced by buying MM a 'cuddle cat'.
As a comparison, I'm willing to acknowledge my biases here. my first cuddly toy as a child was called 'dog', which was a dog. It had a big nose.

Re: Rico Sorda - A Mirror Image
You can always spot a troll......they start dissing the dogs....
They always start talking about ....the piece off coconut and then go on to say the dogs were wrong there so they were wrong in PDL.
Its always back to the dogs. ....yawn....

I think you may wish to return to the dark side where the discussion may be more suited to your beliefs.

I’m not certain which dogs were used in Jersey, whether it was Eddie or Keela or both. But these dogs are able to detect traces so minute that forensic analysis is not always able to confirm the biological material. This is what happens when you have a dog that detects scents in places and on objects on a molecular level. All dogs have this ability but what you have to remember with these two dogs and other similar dogs is that they are trained scent discrimination dogs, this means they will only locate the target scent they are either specifically trained to find or the target scent they are given to find. Samples taken as a result of the dog’s detections may not always yield forensic results but this does not mean the dogs are wrong, though like everything else on this planet, even machines, there has to be a margin of error. However their natural instinct and ability is hard to defeat as proven by the sheer number of operational successes along with training records which are all recorded in order to prove their reliability and credibility.
