On the contrary - I would have thought it would attract more people after hearing its all been a giant cover up.

I don't know whether I can leave. I hate injustice.

Don't leave Iris.
Or anyone else for that.
We all know they've found diddly squat.

Has anyone said they will leave? I certainly do feel depressed at times when the McCanns are treated like royalty and things are believed just on their say so but I'm thankful for forums like this where we can talk about what's going on without being called every name under the sun.

I don't really feel as if I can be bothered any more. Sorry. But I wouldn't be honest if I didn't say how I felt.

Re: there is no reason for anyone to leave the forum over all this latest stuff
In Canada the Madeleine McCann case gets very little coverage, hardly any to be exact. This morning when I turned on my computer I was surprised to see Madeleine's picture(s) staring at me on my 'home' page. One picture was of the 'real' Madeleine and the other 'as she would look at age nine'. The headline was "U.K. Police say it's possible that missing girl Madeleine McCann is alive". The Canadian Press Agency is reporting, "British Police on Wedenesday asked Portugal to reopen the case of missing girl Madeleine McCann".
I don't post that often but I am grateful to be part of this forum and to be able to read all the insightful thoughts of others. No, I won't be leaving because of all this latest stuff. I will not be satisfied until I see a video of a swat team arresting ALL involved in this tragedy and subsequent coverup.

Are they burying bad news?
Murdoch - BSkyB - Rebecca - Cameron - have been pushed off the front pages. The programme on Maddie seems to have been moved from the 30th to today.
Might the tease from SY be to secure more funding for the review?
CR or Kevin, the office boy there - will be notching up the desperate posts from here and elsewhere.
Think of the Roman philosophy - they did not consider themselves defeated until they themselves said they were. And they never did.

Today is the day the good people of Portugal commemorate the Revolution of April 25th, 1974.

Yes, it certainly is! The day we got rid of the people who told us what to do, how to think and what to read for almost 50 years!

I feel like screaming, or banging my head against a brick wall, but not like leaving.

Well, I feel like turning on my TV and waiting for SY to bring Madeleine home so I can start a party. It shouldn't take long, right?

Re: there is no reason for anyone to leave the forum over all this latest stuff
Nor me! I'm sickened by the news today and the spin put on Redwood's pathetic mumblings. I've just hollered at Central News and had to suffer that clown clara snivelling. They totally repulse me - I've hit the bottle. The deluded and the gullible will believe this spin and I just want to scream that the parents could've had the case kept open after they were de-arguidoed. Why does no mainstream media state this fact?
Don't know if I can stomach 30 minutes of spin. Supposedly SY are only 25% into the paperwork and there are 195 'leads'. Then Redwood said she could be alive or she could be dead. FGS is there no one left in 'power' in the UK who has integrity and wants justice for Maddie?
Mark Harrison, Lee Rainbow and Martin Grime must be choking.
SY if she's alive why are you poncing about on tv. Keep your info to yourself and get out there and find her. I really need to lower my blood pressure!
This case has cost Portugal a fortune and the parents fund pays for what? (I know!)
