Sighting 4th May 6.30 am

I'd like this sighting to be more publicised. A man and a woman were seen carrying a child towards the beach in the early morning of 4th May. When they were caught in car headlights they scurried away down a path to the beach. Now when this was first reported it was a man and a woman carrying a child. Then it became a man and a woman dragging a child. Then somebody said these people were traced and eliminated. I'n not so sure. I for one think it should be looked at more closely.

I think it fits with the Smith's sighting and the thesis that a body was place in a temporary panic location that had to be moved to a safer place by sun-up. It fits with PB's thoughts that a body was then moved onto the cliffs out of the way of dogs etc. I always though that K&G's jogging trips up the hill were to keep an eye on things until it was moved again further afield. Just my thoughts.

I don't understand how parents whose child has disappeared have the energy to go jogging, beating their personal best. I would be a worn-out frazzled heap and if I wasn't out there desperately hunting, banging on doors, asking people for myself if they had seen anything, I wouldn't want to be out of reach if the police wanted to contact me urgently.

76 A George Brooks saw a couple at 5:55 on the morning of May 4th on his way between Lagos and Praia da Luz
77 The man was carrying a child
78 At this time the McCanns had left the apartment and were somewhere in the vicinity of Praia da Luz
79 They had left the apartment around 5:00 when the police and all search groups had left the area
80 They were never asked where exactly they had gone
81 Kate claimed in her book they "resumed" their search that early morning although they never went searching the night before

Yep, this one should definitely be examined again.

I remember this sighting. It was a couple from Sunderland who reported the woman was hysterical and seemed to be drunk. The two caught in the headlights scurried off when the couple in the car asked if they could help. It was reported in the press and was a while after the event though.

that mckuskey? sighting,they traced the persons concerned ukrainian couple living in algarve.

I wonder who exactly followed up this sighting and if it appeared in the files. Maybe it is one of the 195 significant leads.

By 5-6 am, the McCanns had been moved to the Payne's Apartment so unless all the Tapas Group were all involved in a cover-up I doubt the couple
seen turning off into a Country Lane was the McCanns.

Well not sure I'd accept that as gospel. I think every nano second of the 48 hours preceding 3rd may and 48 hours after 3rd May need going over again and again and again. Therein lies the answer to the mystery. Not sightings in Australia and goodness knows where else.

Well I don't know of course. But I certainly have doubts it was. What were they doing wandering about at that time of the morning with a child.

Yep, this one should definitely be examined again.

Thats why i put up the video...Kate denied searching for the first 48hrs,if they did indeed 'search'...George Brooks could be a reason to deny searching
