Their article trawls up three cases of 'missing children' which have nothing in common with the McCann case.
One a wild 15 year old who was actually living with an OP reader 'off and on' , the two children whose father is in prison accused of their murder and Yeremy from the Canary Islands, long time ago and probably murdered by his karate teacher who is in the dock for paedophilia. Nope - no connections at all.

OP - imo of course - is a conduit for NI and such like to print a story given to them first. That way the international press can pick it up and run with it - having a source to quote. A source which is just a step above the average parish magazine and does what they are told - suing them would be useless - no money. NI safe anybody wishing to derive from their wildly inaccurate articles - perfectly safe.

Me neither. There have been so few indications as to what Madeleine was really like - the things she said, liked to do etc - and she also seems to have been isolated as far as friends are concerned. There have never been any photos published of her with children other than her cousins (their faces could have been obscured for privacy) which is strange.

Glad I'm not the only one who had never heard of the best friend before and you're right about the photos of other children with Madeleine, they're all related to her and although young children do develop friendships at nursery etc a child of 3 would be unlikely to have a best friend in the way that Gerry is talking about by implying this child who is the same age is still her "best friend"

The McCann's just keep getting stranger and stranger every time they open their mouths!

There was a good comment on a Radio 4 show last night. One of the panel said that with hair like that Rebekah Brooks should be careful about her choice of words! (i.e., witch hunt!)
