Loren Larrabee, 29, Sentenced for Sexual Abuse of Person Incapable of Consenting
United States Attorney Brendan V. Johnson announced that a Little Eagle man charged with sexual abuse of a person incapable of consenting was sentenced on January 9, 2012, by United States District Judge Charles B. Kornmann. Loren Larrabee, age 29, was sentenced to 90 months in custody, five years of supervised release, and a $100 special assessment to the Victim Assistance Fund.
Larrabee was indicted by a federal grand jury on for two counts of sexual abuse on May 10, 2011. The conviction is the result of a May 2008 incident at Little Eagle involving a woman who went to Larrabee’s house and fell asleep on the couch in the living room. Larrabee saw the victim on the couch and sexually assaulted her. He pled guilty to sexual abuse on October 3, 2011.
This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Assistant United States Attorney Mikal Hanson prosecuted the case. Larrabee was immediately turned over to the custody of the United States Marshal to begin serving his sentence.
