Goncalo Amaral's Bank Accounts

Does anyone have any information about Goncalo Amaral's bank accounts. No I don't want to know his sort code, his account number, or his pin number. I just want to know if he has access to his money. I read a while ago that the account where he placed the money from the sale of his books, were frozen, when the McCanns won the right to have his book temporarily banned.

I thought when he won the right to have the ban on his book overturned, he would be able to access the money. However since then and after his divorce, I have heard he is destitute and living with his dad. I have just tried to find out information using Google, but nothing is coming up.

I should have explained in my post, that the reason I mentioned Goncalo Amaral's bank accounts, was because I read that a while ago, that Dr Amaral was now destitute and living with his father.

There was supposed to be a fighting fund being set up for him, to help pay his lawyers fees. I don't know if this fund was ever set up, but if it was, I wanted to know where I could make a donation. In a couple of months time the McCanns lawsuit against Dr Amaral is due to begin. I don't know if any money has to be put upfront, but if it has, we all know where the McCanns money will come from and it won't be out of the McCanns pockets. If Goncalo Amaral's bank accounts are still frozen, where will his money come from?

had arranged an account in support of GA. I believe
it was advertised as such on her web. Again, I may
be wrong but I will check if this is the case.

Am I wrong in hoping the McCanns drop the lawsuit? After all whoever loses will appeal and as Claudia says the case could go on for years. As I said previously, the McCanns are ok, they have Madeleine's fund to dip into, Dr Amaral has got to rely on the fighting fund and I don't know how much money has been raised.

If Dr Amaral is now making money from the sale of his book, do you know if the money is going into his frozen bank account? Isabel Duarte, the McCanns lawyer said, the more money Goncalo Amaral receives from the sale of his book, the more she will claim from him, on behalf of the McCanns.

It's unbelievable that this pair of unconvicted criminals, can so blatently take out a lawsuit against Goncalo Amaral, on the pretext protecting the twins and missing Madeleine. One would have thought they would be grateful that they still have their freedom, but they're not, I think they think they are above the law.

By the way, regarding Dr Amaral's fighting fund, I'm only following what many people have done before me. It's thanks to the person who had the idea of this fund and also Joana Morais for putting the details on her website, that Goncalo Amaral's cyber friends can help him.

I once read that any profits Dr Amaral made from his book, were going to a Portuguese childrens charity. Unlike the gruesome twosome, the profits from Kate McCanns book of sex and lies, go into the fund then some of it goes into their pockets and the pockets of their wider family.
