AG dimisses Mr Birch's claim

Even after reading the above information If I was Lord or Lady McCann I would insist on the garden being dug up - or alternatively the McCanns could hop on Easyjet grab a bucket and spade and start digging, Just like Pat Brown did.
No stone (grave) unturned eh Kate and Gerry??

The entire Clan McCann up to and including Auntie Philopastry should be shouting and baying for Time Team to do a cataclysmic archaeological dig in Murat's mother's backyard. God knows they've been yelling long and hard for action when there was no real 'solid new evidence' to shout about.

Good morning Malena
@ Auntie Philopastry. Auntie Phil could do with grabbing a spade and doing a bit of digging in her own garden, if only to get some excess weight off her rather large rump.

The McCanns have never done any kind of searching for Madeleine and they're not about to start now. As far as they are concerned all the unturned stones can stay unturned. Them that want to dig, can dig, the McCanns have got more important things to do, like spending what's left of the money in the fund and finding new ways of persuading the gullible to hand over more of their hard earned dosh.

Couldnt have said that better myself Kathybelle, this info on Mr Birch is all over the world by now, The McCanns and Tapas 7 fingered Murat he was arguido'd, surely they should be insisting on a new search @ Casa Liliana - they are shooting themselves in the foot AGAIN if a search is NOT insisted upon, other parents of other missing children on the Algarve want the garden dug up. This is not going away Mr Birch is in contact with the Yard the clock is ticking.
Not sure of your feelings on Murat BUT since day one I have a very bad feeling with him - call it intuition

Why arn't the Mccanns demanding the Murats Drive be dug up, they complained nobody was doing anything last year, nows the chance, Birch is insistant that this is the place, if Murat and the McCanns are innocent of any wrong doings isn't this perfect to show the world what this guy is, what have the McCanns got to lose, remember Birch has admitted on sky news he TRESPASSED 4 TIMES ON MURATS LAND, come on Gerry and Kate, get intouch with Dave again and demand this 2nd driveway to be dug up, I'm sure Dave will help you yet AGAIN!!!

And the Mccanns with their 'fund' should spend
some of it to look under a few stones yet uncovered.

saving it for a rainy day, new car perhaps, another mortgage payment, suing a few more
innocent people.
the public donated in good faith, the accounts clearly show most of money NOT spent on
looking for Madeleine which was the reason they gave when asking for donations.

Re: AG dimisses Mr Birch's claim
To be frank, I cannot recall a single genuine effort by Healy & McCann to contribute effectively to any form of Search for their missing daughter.
But, "not a lot of people know that": Why don't they, though?

People are easily convinced. I know somebody who is very good at telling people how worried she is about sick relatives and somehow this is transformed into actual physical support for the said sick relatives who never see hide or hair of the women.
All her colleagues and friends are convinced she is Florence Nightingale reborn. All done with words. Seems to work.
So the McCanns only have to keep on bleating that they're still looking, looking etc. The public sees this as proof of their hard work - turning over them thar stones.
As far as I can see they haven't turned over so much as a pebble.

Why haven't the press got some kind of a statement from the McCanns? I am assuming Clarence must be on vacation or else he would be in front of the cameras. Any time there was a 'possible sighting' the McCanns were able to get their reaction in the media. Failing that, why haven't the press descended on Portugal, with their shovels and spades? They were right off the mark with their cameras when Madeleine was reported "missing".
