I think Kate McCann is cocking a snook at the ones who know she and her husband played a huge part in Madeleine's disappearance. Not just in this video, but in her recent appointment as an ambassador for the Missing Peoples charity. She is confident that along with her husband she will be exonerated, when the review reaches its conclusion.

Lord help us if this does happen, because she will be on a fast track to receiving an OBE or an MBE, for services to charity. She has the right people on her side who can make this happen. All these people, especially the ones in the British Government, know that Kate and Gerry McCann should be in jail, but they know what will happen if the gruesome twosome are successfully prosecuted. They will be left with red faces and they will be slaughtered by the media, for supporting the McCanns.

The high profile people who have helped the McCanns, since the day the McCanns informed them that Madeleine disappeared, are stuck with them, whether they like it or not.

As usual I'm only giving my opinion and I hope I am 100% wrong in what I am stating in this post.

Those who supported Healy & McCann are unlikely to be shame-faced when proven wrong: They're all far too brazen and thick-skinned for that.

The more of this I read about and the more interviews I see it has become obvious that Gerry is covering for her

There is a photograph of a grinning Gerry in existence, very, very happy and with enormous pupils... I actually think that may have been one of the factors in the T9 affair. In a poor foreign country, as long as you're not dealing, it isn't likely to be a problem.

In the 80's I had some friends who were doctors and they indulged in cannabis from time to time. I don't approve but then my drug of choice is alcohol, unfortunately not often, since I only like good wines and I never ever drive even after one glass. Peace of mind.

Hello Tigger, same as me then, My chosen drug is alcohol. I try to stop myself from coming on here on a Saturday night I must say though that Portugal is not poor. We spend a couple of months there every winter, in a small village, not a touristy place and they may live a different lifestyle to us but it is definately not a poor one. Just different to us and actually better than ours Just IMO

Yes, sorry, I really meant that I have read that these areas are very dependent on tourism, so they're not too bothered about drug use as long as it's for personal use.
They have a much better lifestyle imo than the 'locked in the centrally heated, air-conditioned - TV dominated living environment' a lot of northern countries have.

I know what you mean tigger. I would not like the police there to catch me on it though! Blimy I wish I was there now away from this rain. Although today has been so lovely. Felt as though it was summer!!

I love Robert Burns and not just for his poetry, he was rather a good looking man. I've visited his museum in Dumfries and my plan is to go to Alloway, Ayrshire, where he was born.
