Re: British toddler taken into care after being abandoned by her drunken ‘teacher’ parents in Portugal
oh dear look at this comment
Dont forget that this is the Police Force who bungled Madeleines search and investigation and accused the McCanns of killing their own daughter with NO evidence. In portugal they think you are a child abuser if you havent got your baby wrapped up under a pile of arctic blankets in swaddling clothes in an old-fashioned pram in 35 derees in summer .This looks like a terrible mistake....they happen.Two year olds disappear at lightning speed....and its normal to go to bars out there with your family - partly why they HAVE such close families is because they socialise together....I cant believe the reactions of everyone.You dont know these people,you dont know what actually happened yet youve already judged them......Disgusting....I hope none of you have such a terrible thing happen to you.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror, Mr Street's father Ray, 70, said: 'I just can't believe it. My son is not a drinker and my daughter-in-law doesn't drink. She is a lovely little girl and they wouldn't do anything to harm her.'

Sounds a bit like Auntie Phil's irrational diatribe against the PJ

Ah, the old "They wouldn't" ploy ...... totally irrelevant: The only thing that matters is what they did do, not a biased character reference.

The pickled pair have given the rellies the green light (KM-style) to bad mouth anything said against this new 'perfect couple'.
Same pattern forming.
How long before Tony Parsehole gets his wax crayons out and gives the PJ another sardining?

They'll probably not qualify for Pinko Mitchell to become one of their family members though.. They are Geordies after all..almostgothic wrote:Yes indeedy.malena stool wrote:Quote

The same old from family members "he wouldn't, she wouldn't, he didn't, she didn't, they were at home in bed at the time, it's all lies, etc etc". The only difference seems to be that the poor little girl is still alive and being taken care of and that, so far, the British government hasn't sent out a spokesperson, nobody has, yet, started a fighting fund and we haven't been subjected yet to hundreds of poignant "glamour" shots of the doting couple.

If that's true, it makes her getting blind drunk even more irresponsible!

It highlights the constant streams of drivel printed by rags like the Mirror;

It reminds you doesn't it of the sproutings of the McCann and Healy families about what wonderful parents Kate and Gerry were when the story first broke. Stop sniggering at the back there!
Blood is thicker than water so they say but I wouldn't have a problem with saying my offspring had made a dreadful mistake if they clearly had.
