Gerry's bedside reading?

As the PJ searched the McCann villa, they
found lots of interesting reading material
but I find this book 'Every Second Counts;
from Recovery to Victory' by Lance Armstrong
a very curious bedtime read.
Of course this was in 07 well before Armstrong
was shown to be a fraud, who defended his
reputation and lifestyle by threatening legal
action against anyone who would dare question
his repute or excercise their right to free speech.
I'm wondering if Gerry fashioned himself upon
the life and times of Lance Armstrong or did he
extract many of his ideas from him?
