I don't think there will be a problem as I have often put links here from there and from here to there. It will be interesting to hear whether members here think that this is the "real" Stephen Birch or a troll - or indeed the "real" Mr Birch who is a troll!

Yes, I always did but he's very persistant. I'm beginning to wonder a little bit.

The problem for me is that he has behaved exactly like a troll; not answering questions, causing disruption and being abusive.

I find it hard to believe that the businessman Stephen Birch is the same person who has been posting on and off for a couple of months.

I think the person on the forum is someone other than Birch, but he writes on behalf of Birch and therefore he can not directly answer questions but should first consult with Birch himself.

Btw, I'm not a troll, I have always used the Dandylion 1946 (the 1946, is the year of my birth) on You Tube and Google.

If the Stephen Birch who claims to have been to PDL with his wondrous machine is the one who's been posting on the other site, then you can't believe a thing he says.

His behaviour is so bizarre that he's been banned.

Not sure if he is real thing or not.
Have I missed why he didn't get permission from the owners of that villa to dig. Did he think they were involved somehow. I would have thought they would want any doubt and stigma taken away

Krisy22, you don't seem to know that the villa named by Mr Birch is the one occupied at the time by Robert Murat and his mother; the latter still lives there.

It's very hard to believe that the reasonable sounding guy here is the same one who has been posting nonsense elsewhere but of course we don't know what he is really like.

Sorry if I mislead ...I did realise to whom the villa belonged to ..I said owners because I just assumed we all knew who they were.

What is he asking us for ???? Ring 999 would be my advice to him, or the equivalent number in Portugal. Whatever credibility I thought there might be left with this Mr Birch's story has just been whooshed.

If there is any chance that a body is buried in that garden, it should be excavated by properly trained forensic officers. If he finds something then any evidence could be rules out of court because he may have tampered with it. I hope that if he does do the dig that he has official witnesses at the scene to film it.

But surely the PJ in Portimaio or Oporto must be aware of this Birch creature? Surely they have powers to investigate a site if they so wish?
I should have asked Birch what frequency he used in the survey - of what I actually think was his backyard.

Judging by his postings on the Jill Havern site, I would not be at all surprised if he has a drink problem and / or mental health issues.

Alternatively he could of course just be a wind-up merchant.

Yesterday he said on Facebook that he and Robert Murat had agreed to excavate the site.

So if they found her body in the garden after digging it on HIS say so.....how did the planted DNA get 'time warped' back Into the hired car which was tested 5 years ago?

And the McCanns sue Amaral and Tony Bennett ??? Seriously, why is that. This man is on Facebook, making accusations as per the above and nothing but silence from team McCann. Interesting, if nothing else.
