I believe Madeleine died accidentally in 5a on the night of 3rd May ......if we will ever know the details is debateable , but I think the shelved files hold far more information which is why the case was not closed. Obviously nothing the SY Review has found has been enough to persuade the Portugese to re-open the case so follow the money seems to be the only way get to the truth.
