Harriet Harman was also once the director of Liberty; a campaign organisation utilised by the political classes as a stepping stone to career advancement.
Despite her role there and what she espoused, once labour MP she voted the antithesis of the position of Liberty on a whole range of issues.
Most notably she voted for the Serious and Organised Crime and Police Act (2005) which thoroughly restricts the right to protest, which goes firmly against the historical impetus for the foundation of Liberty.

In January 2009, Harman proposed a rule change to exempt MPs' expenses from the Freedom of Information Act. Her parliamentary order aimed to remove "most expenditure information held by either House of Parliament from the scope of the Freedom of Information Act". Labour MPs were to be pressured to vote for this measure by use of a three line whip. In December 2010 it emerged that Harman was amongst 40 MPs who had secretly repaid wrongly claimed expenses between 2008 and 2010. Her case related to missing Commons stationery for writing to non-constituents and she repaid £13.20.[65] In November 2010 Harman's parliamentary private secretary Ian Lavery had blocked a motion designed to allow the repayments to be made public.[66][67]

In 2007, Harman was issued with a £60 fixed penalty notice and given three penalty points on her licence for driving at 50 mph (80 km/h) in a temporary 40 mph (64 km/h) zone. Harman paid the fine several months late and avoided appearing at Ipswich magistrates court.[76] Harman was again caught breaking the speed limit the following April, this time in a 30 mph zone, receiving a further 3 points on her driving licence.[80]
In January 2010, Harman pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention in relation to an incident on 3 July where she struck another vehicle whilst driving using a mobile phone, she admitted the offence in court becoming the first serving Cabinet minister in memory to plead guilty to a criminal offence.[81][82] Harman was fined £350, ordered to pay £70 costs, a £15 victim surcharge and had three points added to her licence.[83] Road safety organisations such as Brake condemned the leniency of the punishment and decision to drop the charge of driving whilst using a mobile phone.[84] The judge defended the decision stating "Ms Harman’s guilty plea to driving without due care and attention included her admitting that she had been using a mobile phone at the time".[85]

sex education since the age of 5 or whenever, we have civil servants coming up with ideas about reducing age of consent, this is already what a lot of politicians want, we have seen the sexualisation of young children, inappropriate clothes, inappropriate stuff on tv, even on programmes like x factor they have half naked dancers prancing about, interesting with Simon Cowell involved in X factor - say no more!!!

This is already going on in other countries with concerted efforts to work towards this end where paedophilia becomes normalised, Harman is one sick person, along with her mates, I believe Brown was also member of PIE or NCCL and everyone needs to make a firm stand against this for the sake of protecting children from these perverts.

With all these government ministers doing their bit, it does look so obvious there is an effort working towards legalising paedophilia. Booklets from a subsidiary of the German government’s Ministry for Family Affairs encourage parents to sexually massage their children as young as 1 to 3 years of age. Two 40-page booklets entitled "Love, Body and Playing Doctor" by the German Federal Health Education Center (Bundeszentrale für gesundheitliche Aufklärung - BZgA) are aimed at parents - the first addressing children from 1-3 and the other children from 4-6 years of age.

"Fathers do not devote enough attention to the clitoris and vagina of their daughters. Their caresses too seldom pertain to these regions, while this is the only way the girls can develop a sense of pride in their sex," reads the booklet regarding 1-3 year olds. The authors rationalize, "The child touches all parts of their father’s body, sometimes arousing him. The father should do the same."

Canadian author and public speaker Michael O’Brien who has written and spoken extensively about the crisis of culture in the West spoke to xxxxx about the shocking and extremely disturbing phenomenon. It is, he said, "State-encouraged incest, which in most civilized societies is a crime." The development is, he suggests, a natural outcome of the rejection of the Judeo-Christian moral order.

"The imposed social revolution that has swept the western world is moving to a new stage as it works out the logical consequences of its view of man’s value," said O’Brien. "It is merely obeying its strictly materialist philosophy of man. If man is no more than a creature created for pleasure or power. If he is no more than a cell in the social organism, then no moral standards, no psychological truths, no spiritual truths can refute the ‘will to power’ and the ‘will to pleasure’."

The pamphlet advises parents to permit young children "unlimited masturbation" except where physical injury becomes apparent. It advises: "Children should learn that there is no such thing as shameful parts of the body. The body is a home, which you should be proud of." For ages 4-6, the booklet recommends teaching children the movements of copulation.

Another product of the BZgA is a song book aimed at children of four and slightly older which includes several songs espousing masturbation. The song-book entitled "Nose, belly and bum" includes one song with the following lyrics: "When I touch my body, I discover what I have. I have a vagina, because I am a girl. Vagina is not only for peeing. When I touch it, I feel a pleasant tingle."



"The wiser and deeper position of most civilizations recognized that children need a period of innocence," commented O’Brien. "Now the state, the German state, is encouraging destruction of this state of innocence," he added. "This is consistent with the materialist philosophy that sees all moral norms and all truths about human nature as repressive. Pleasure and their distorted concept of freedom are their only guiding principles."

According to the Polish daily newspaper Rzeczpospolita, the BZgA booklet is an obligatory read in nine German regions. It is used for training nursery, kindergarten and elementary school teachers. Ironically it is recommended by many organizations officially fighting pedophilia, such as the German Kunderschutzbund. BZgA sends out millions of copies of the booklet every year.

"A society such as Germany’s which is already in steep decline, indeed into degeneration, will only inherit the whirlwind of violence and further levels of degradation of their own people," warned O’Brien. "It has happened before in Germany. It has happened in other nations. Different causes but the same dynamic, the rejection of the moral order of the created universe results in radical evil. The German state intervention in family life is a new level of auto-destruction," said O’Brien.

Rzeczpospolita reports that the Eckhardt Scheffer of BZgA claimed that before releasing the manual the organization consulted parents, educators and child psychologists. 93% of whom gave a positive evaluation.

Even for a Western nation, Germany’s billboards and television ads push the limits of public pornography. THE brother of Jack Straw, the Home Secretary, was yesterday convicted of indecently assaulting a 16-year-old girl and put on the Sex Offenders' Register.

William Straw, 47, was fined £750 for subjecting the teenager to a "very frightening" experience. Straw, a regional secretary for the Open University, was said to have been "in the throes of emotional turbulence" when the incident happened at the girl's family home in April. It was the second time in three months that he had appeared at Nottingham magistrates' court.

In July he was bound over to keep the peace after being accused of assaulting a teenage girl in May. Yesterday the court heard that he described himself in a letter of apology to the victim's mother as "a weak and immature individual" with a string of character defects. He denied the offence, however, claiming that the assault was no more than "flirting".

Straw, a father of two from Bramcote, Nottingham, went to the girl's home on his bicycle. "I felt sick as soon as I saw him," the girl told the court, weeping. In the house Straw touched her stomach in a suggestive way and asked her to show him her bedroom, she said. Once there, he began to rub her hips and stare at her chest, she added. After she told him that he was scaring her, he left.

Straw later wrote to the girl's mother apologising for his "utter insensitivity and thoughtlessness." The court heard that he had been referred to a psychiatrist at the time of the offence for depression and was receiving medication. The magistrate, Peter Nuttall, told him: "This offence must have been very frightening for the young lady."

He ordered that Straw should remain on the Sex Offenders' Register for five years.

Sex education books are inappropriate say campaigners

Religious campaigners hit out today at "explicit" sex education resources they claim are inappropriate for primary school children.

A report by the Christian Institute claims materials available to schools contain unsuitable language and information for young pupils.

Many of these resources are recommended for teaching by local authorities, it says, and aimed at children as young as five.

One resource, a book called How Did I Begin? by Mick Manning and Brita Granstrom, the report says, is recommended for children aged five and up.

It contains information such as "as they cuddled, your dad's penis moved gently inside your mum's vagina and the sperms flowed out".

Another book, Where Did I Come From? by Peter Mayle, shows cartoon pictures of nude people, and descriptions of their bodies.

This book, the report claims, is recommended by two councils for children aged seven and older.

The report highlights a primary school sex and relationships education pack, recommended by a number of authorities.

It claims the pack includes a glossary giving definitions for terms including "anal intercourse", "bisexual" and "clitoris".

A book called Let's Talk About Sex, by Robie H Harris, which includes a chapter on heterosexuality and homosexuality called "Straight and Gay" is also highlighted in the report.

The book is aimed at pupils aged seven plus, it says.

The institute's document highlights a number of other books and resources which include definitions for terms such as "incest", "lesbian" "oral sex" and "orgasm", as well as discussing issues like masturbation.

The report's introduction says: "At a time when there is growing alarm at the sexualisation of childhood, using sexually explicit resources in schools can surely only make things much worse.

"If sex education is made compulsory for primary schools, the publications highlighted in this report are the kind of materials that will be used with children as young as five.

"A national curriculum for sex education would see control taken out of the hands of schools and centralised in the hands of those who advocate the use of material which most parents would find unacceptable."

At the moment, both primary and secondary schools have to teach pupils age-appropriate lessons about the biology of sex in science.

Schools must also have a sex education policy, although the subject is not compulsory.

The future of sex education is part of a current review of the entire national curriculum ordered by ministers.

Christian Institute spokesman Mike Judge said: "Most parents would be deeply upset if these materials were used with their primary-aged child.

"If public bodies believe these resources are suitable for young children, there is clearly a problem with their judgment and more control needs to be given to parents.

"Parents must have the right to be fully consulted about materials. They must be able to review them, and veto any that are unsuitable.

"Those rights must not simply exist on paper. Parental consultation must be meaningful and enforced."

A spokesman for the Department for Education (DfE) said: "By law, schools must make sure that sex and relationship education (SRE) classes are appropriate to pupils' ages and maturity.

"It's down to teachers themselves to use their professional judgment in deciding this - and it's common sense to involve parents closely in this.

"Parents retain the right to pull their children out of any SRE class, outside statutory science, if they are unhappy with teaching.

"This is about balancing. Ministers believe it is important that all children have high quality SRE while at school so they can make informed and safe decisions about their lives as they grow up.

"The White Paper has made clear how we can improve the quality of PSHE teaching - we'll set out details of an internal review in due course."

A spokesman for Brook, a sexual health charity aimed at young people, said: "All children and young people have the right to education about sex and relationships, in schools and at home, which equips them with the information and skills they need to form healthy and positive sexual relationships and protect themselves from harm.

"Education about sex and relationships is age-appropriate and starts by teaching children and young people about friendships, feelings and boundaries, names of the body parts and preparing them for puberty.

"In secondary school it teaches children and young people about relationships, as well as the biological aspects of sex,and the links with alcohol, risk-taking and personal safety."
