I wonder who was the wealthy Benefactor who paid Clarence's Salary . They didn't pay it all the time because Clarence was on a retainer later. The McCanns, with their daily bulletins, setting up the Fund, asking for donations selling wristbands etc were the ones who ensured all the publicity .

The thing that really puzzles me about Clarry is why jump from one sinking ship to another - Isn't he supposed to be retained to do PR work in relation to the Concordia tragedy?

I think he has moved on from there NBY, it was not long ago he moved on to another Company.

Or was he just missing his Ambulance Chasing days when he was, 'first on scene' standing before the cameras, talking all knowledgeable and plummy and saw the McCanns as an heaven sent opportunity to escape the sinking of HMS New Labour.
