Thanks Annabel.......blacksmith is right though, we are no nearer discovering what happened than we were 6 years ago and if the McCann/Amaral Trial is settled out of Court, we will never know.!!!

Blackmith's comments are very measured, and you can't fault them. I do hope litigants don't settle out of court for one reason or another, or the mystery will only deepen.

Hi comperedna,

I seem to remember when the parties couldn't reach agreement over settling out of court, the Judge said he would allow up to six months for the Parties and if there was no change the Trial would go ahead....I make it that the Trial would be in July. I think the fact that the McCanns wanted to settle out of court speaks volumes.
